Frenquently Asked
Questions.
How much CBD oil should I give my pet?
Start low and adjust. Give the smallest suggested amount for their weight once daily, hold it for three to five days, then increase gradually until you see the response you're looking for. If anything seems off, go back to the last amount they handled well. Each bottle lists suggested servings by weight, and every animal responds a little differently — your veterinarian can help you land on the right number.
Is your CBD oil third-party tested?
Yes. Every batch is tested by Metis QA Laboratory, an ISO 17025:2017 accredited independent lab, and the certificate of analysis for your batch number is published on our lab results page. You'll find the exact cannabidiol content, the full cannabinoid profile, and confirmation that the product contains less than 0.3% THC.
Will CBD oil make my pet high?
No. Cannabidiol is not intoxicating. Our full spectrum extract contains less than 0.3% THC, the legal limit for hemp, which is far too little to produce that kind of effect. What owners typically notice is the opposite of sedation — an animal that seems more settled and more like themselves.
How long does it take to see a difference?
It varies. For situational moments like storms or travel, oil given thirty to sixty minutes beforehand tends to work fastest. For everyday support, most owners give it consistently for two to four weeks before judging the results, since cannabinoids build up in the body over time. Consistency matters more than a large amount.
Can I give it with my pet's other medication?
Talk to your veterinarian first. Cannabidiol is processed by the same liver enzymes as many common medications, so if your animal is on anything regular, that conversation is worth having before you start. Bring the bottle or the lab report to the appointment — knowing the exact concentration makes the discussion much easier.
